Arkansas PTI Centers are funded by the Office of Special
Education & Rehabilitation Services and provide parents and
families INFORMATION, TRAINING, & SUPPORT.

TRAINING
- To develop self-advocacy skills
- To improve communication between home
and school
- To understand IDEA and other laws
that impact the education of children with disabilities
- To prepare for planning meetings
(e.g. IEP, IFSP, transition, service team meetings)
- To promote quality of life and
success for children with disabilities
SUPPORT
- To attend school conferences with
parents
- For families and individuals to learn
new job and educational skills
- To find or develop parent groups
